Sunday walk On the Sunday, we'll go to Grantchester, home of Rupert Brooke and more recently Jeffrey Archer (but don't let that put you off). We'll most probably walk, although it is possible to punt there if that's what people want to do. It's a charming village about 2 miles out of Cambridge on the banks of the Cam with more than its fair share of fine pubs. We'll aim to visit all four and have lunch in the one that looks the most promising. The local Cambridge members joining us have suggested meeting at Mill Lane Bridge at 11.15. Us Londoners can meet for breakfast or a coffee somewhere beforehand but let's play that by ear.
