- Betsey Trotwood is a male-disliking character from Charles Dickens' David Copperfield. Men are certainly welcomed here though!

The Horseshoe

- This pub was not well received on Tim Andrews' excellent Clerkenwell crawl some four years ago now, however it's worth another look. It's the only local pub that hasn't changed in a generation and is a type of pub that is rapidly disappearing.
