The entrance here was hidden behind hoarding but has
recently been restored. The restoration seems almost too clean,
in the sense that it might lead the unwary passerby into thinking
that there is still a station here.

Eastward view showing the complete Blackfriars Road
frontage with newly restored original lettering. It is not known
whether the station platforms were island ones or not, though
due to space restraints at both ends of the platform area and
also that a smaller bridge would have sufficed for edge platforms,
the deduction is that the raised area to the left (with the foilage
growing on it as seen in the photos above) was the eastbound
platform area.
