Entrance to Watford Stadium station. This station
being very close to Watford West station, wouldn't be re-opened
in the event of the Metropolitan Line taking over the branch.

Looking back toward the Watford Stadium station. The
bridge is only wide enough for one track on top but the bridge
arch below is wide enough to accommodate an extra track.

Looking back toward the Croxley direction. The gardening
that had obviously taken place just prior to this visit to allow
for for surveying (Nov 2003) reveals the ample space for two
tracks (the line used to be double tracked).

Joining onto the existing loop line between Bushey
& Oxhey and Watford Junction, just south of Watford High
Street station (the line that diverts away and then rejoins the
main line from Euston). The connection shown here is still intact
though it had been removed by Oct 2005.
