Stamford Brook - Julie Ward

Fri 5 December 2008

[Attendance for this crawl: 29 (maybe more)]

#1

6.30pm - 7.10pm

The Raven
375 Goldhawk Road, Hammersmith, London, W6 0SA

- A noisy and, seemingly, crowded pub but the back rooms are fairly quiet (well, they were when we did the reccie) so look for me where there are comfy chairs.

#2

7.15pm - 7.50pm

The White Hart
383 King Street, Hammersmith, London W6 9NJ

- It's mainly lager (which they call beers) but serves London Pride on draught. They do have guest beers but you have to ask if they have any and what they have.  It's clean, spacious, more like a bar than a pub but it's OK.  Quite friendly.

#3

8.00pm - 8.45pm

Cross Keys
57 Black Lion Lane, Hammersmith, London, W6 9BG

- Fuller's pub and friendly.

#4

8.45pm - 10.00pm

The Black Lion
Black Lion Lane South, Hammersmith, London, W6 9TJ.

- Friendly. Good food and a good place to eat (I can recommend the burgers) so an hour and 15 minutes here. Yes, I know it's a bit late for some people but it's the best place to eat.

#5

10pm onwards

The Old Ship
25 Upper Mall, Hammersmith, London, W6 9TD

- Very quiet pub. One drink and go.

#6

until closing

Ruby Grand
227 King Street, Hammersmith, London, W6 9JT

- This was originally the Hampshire Hog, then The Hampshire and now the Ruby Grand. It's a poshed up pub but it's OK and the last one. A three minute walk to Ravenscourt Park tube or a five-ten minute walk to Hammersmith.
